Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and function. You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and ensure preventative maintenance and make-ready tasks are done efficiently.

Responsibilities include inventory tracking, vendor coordination, and meticulous documentation. A valid driver’s license, EPA refrigerant certifications, and optional bilingual English/Spanish skills are

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Completes make-ready process for vacant units: conducts pre-move-out inspections, creates punch lists, schedules vendors, procures supplies, and inspects completed work.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory; notifies supervisor for re-order needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork promptly to track service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs/signage, and pressure-washing as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
