Job summary

Greystar seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to support a Kent/Tacoma portfolio. The role focuses on completing service requests and preventative maintenance to keep buildings, grounds, and amenities safe, clean, and functional.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe use and maintenance of hand and power tools.
• Experience with painting, basic carpentry, appliance repair and plumbing.
• Professional appearance and communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner (including appliance repairs).
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins by completing the 'make-ready' process.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas.
• Assist with vendor management and other duties.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections for equipment.
• Support cost-cutting and expense control by fixing rather than replacing parts.
