Job summary

Pivotal Housing Partners is seeking a Floating Property Manager to support multiple affordable housing communities on‑site and remotely in Texas. You will help maintain occupancy, process recertifications, assist with lease‑ups, and support compliance across LIHTC properties.

The role requires 3+ years of LIHTC experience, strong communication skills, and travel between properties. Onsite work full-time with competitive benefits and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of LIHTC property management experience required.
• Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance (LIHTC, HUD, or related programs).
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel between assigned properties as needed.
• Proficient with Yardi and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage and operational support across multiple LIHTC properties as assigned.
• Assist with daily property operations, including resident relations, leasing, and file management.
• Manage occupancy tasks such as marketing available units and processing applications.
• Complete and/or review annual and interim recertifications to ensure full LIHTC compliance.
• Support rent collection efforts, including resident communication and follow‑up on outstanding balances.
• Conduct internal file audits in preparation for upcoming LIHTC, state agency, or investor audits.
• Assist with new community lease‑ups, including application processing, move‑ins, and compliance file preparation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to company policies and all applicable housing regulations.
• Any other tasks requested by leadership team.
