Job summary

Universe Living is seeking a Floating Leasing Consultant to join our team in the Los Angeles area. The role requires the ability to float across Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley to show and lease apartments, post advertisements, and support the Property Manager with daily operations.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, have at least 2 years of leasing experience, a valid driver's license with insured vehicle, and solid knowledge of property management practices.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years leasing experience required.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle required.
• 2+ years property management experience, preference for larger properties.
• Yardi experience is a strong plus.
• Marketing savvy; proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an engaging, energetic Floating Leasing Consultant that will be responsible for general leasing and supporting the Property Manager in all aspects of operations. Qualified candidates must be willing to float throughout Hollywood and San Fernando Valley.

Responsibilities

• Show and lease available apartments.
• Post and monitor ads daily
• Answer the telephone and practice professional leasing techniques.
• Have a good understanding of the market area where the community is located and stay up to date on market conditions.
• Keep accurate records of resident and property activities.
• Process applicants' paperwork including applications, proof of income, credit, and background checks, following company policies and procedures
• Conduct move-in for new residents
• Collect and record rents and deposits.
• Comply with Fair Housing Laws.
• Perform any and all functions as requested by the Community Manager in addition to those outlined.

Minimum Requirements:

• MUST be fluent in Spanish.
• Minimum 2 years prior leasing experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license and an insured, operable vehicle.
• 2+ years experience in property management with a strong preference for experience at larger properties
• Yardi or industry-related software is a strong plus
• Marketing savvy and proficient in MS Word, Excel
