Adaptability, strong communication, and knowledge of early childhood development are essential, along with pediatric first aid and CPR certification and a clean background check.

Qualifications

• Experience in licensed childcare setting preferred.
• Pediatric first aid and CPR certification required.
• Background check completed successfully.

Responsibilities

• Transition smoothly into classrooms across all age groups, maintaining routines and expectations.
• Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Provide hands-on care including feeding, diapering, and toileting support.
• Engage with children to foster emotional, social, and cognitive development.
• Ensure safety by maintaining a clean, organized classroom and following health regulations.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Communicate with classroom teachers for smooth transitions and consistent care.
• Observe milestones or concerns and report to teachers and Center Director.
• Assist with meals, snacks, and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and required trainings.
• Adhere to center policies and state regulations.
