You will collaborate with classroom staff and the Center Director to meet developmental needs, assist with activities, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliant care while engaging families effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in licensed childcare is strongly preferred.
• Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required.
• Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transition smoothly into classrooms across all age groups, maintaining routines and expectations.
• Assist with age-appropriate activities and curriculum.
• Provide hands-on care including feeding, diapering, toileting support, and self-help skills.
• Engage with children during play to support development.
• Ensure safety by maintaining a clean, organized environment and following regulations.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Communicate with teachers to ensure smooth transitions.
• Observe and report developmental milestones or concerns to teachers and Center Director.
• Assist with meal preparation, snacks, and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Adhere to center policies and state regulations.
