Job summary

Akumin is a leading outpatient radiology and oncology services provider with a national footprint. We are hiring a CT Technologist for our Riverside facility in a full-time float role, offering a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

The CT Technologist ensures patient safety while performing high-quality CT studies, and communicates effectively with radiologists and staff. ARRT or NMTCB CT certification, state license, CPR, and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• ARRT CT registration required or NMTCB CT certification acceptable in lieu of ARRT.
• State license and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screening for radiation/contrast indications.
• Produce high quality CT images.
• Communicate with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists or Patient Coordinators when needed.
• Troubleshoot CT scanner and peripheral equipment.
