Job summary

Akumin Operating Corp. seeks a CT Technologist for its Riverside facility. This full-time float position focuses on patient safety and high-quality CT studies, with the goal of reliable imaging and excellent patient care.

The role requires ARRT CT registration (NMTCB acceptable by state), state licensure, CPR, and a valid driver's license; familiarity with PACS is a plus. Training for new staff may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT CT registration required; NMTCB acceptable if allowed by state.
• State license; medical imaging licensure as applicable.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license for mid-day moves.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be a condition of employment.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high-quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot CT scanner and peripheral equipment (PACS, monitors).
