Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered CT technologist preferred; NMTCB CT acceptable in lieu of ARRT where allowed by state
• Active State Driver’s License and CPR certification required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Pre-screening for contraindications to radiation and contrast
• Training new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators may be required

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety during CT procedures
• Produce high quality diagnostic CT images
• Operate CT scanner and peripheral equipment (PACS, monitors)
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and patients
• Train new staff as needed
