Job summary

Akumin is seeking a CT Technologist for our Riverside facility. This full-time float role focuses on patient safety and high-quality CT imaging, with responsibilities including communication with radiologists and training new staff.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT CT certification (NMTCB acceptable where allowed), a state license, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. The position emphasizes strong customer service and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT registration for CT Technologist; NMTCB acceptable in lieu of ARRT where allowed.
• State license and CPR certification are required.
• Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high quality CT studies.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and customers.
• Train new technologists or patient coordinators as needed.
• Troubleshoot CT scanner and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, etc.).
• Maintain documentation of procedures and safety protocols.
