Responsibilities

• Assist customers and demonstrate concern; master suggestive selling.
• Account for store inventory, counts and control expenses via appropriate ordering.
• Maintain relationships with customers, associates, and vendors, treating all fairly and with respect.
• Ensure shifts are covered by contacting other managers/associates for coverage or covering the shift themselves.
• Handle disciplinary issues per company policy; notify Security Specialist if assets are lost or suspected.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness; delegate duties as needed.
• Lead, train, motivate, and develop team members.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment; follow incident reporting procedures.
• Know store equipment, maintenance and contact maintenance when needed.
• Manage daily paperwork, deposits and cigarette counts; accurate payroll calculations.
• Understand, track and manage waste.
