Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Floating Store Manager who will learn the operations of our convenience stores and assist other Store Managers. The role involves training on company policies, supervising staff, maximizing profits, and delivering excellent customer service and store appearance. Travel to other locations is required.

This position provides hands-on training, with the goal of advancing toward a Store Manager role within a Fortune 500 company with a long history of community support.

Qualifications

• This position requires ServSafe or other approved Food Safety Certification within 90 days of employment or promotion.
• Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a quality buying experience for all customers.
• Perform competitive gas price surveys daily or as required.
• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by noon to accounting office.
• Make daily bank deposits by noon.
• Account for ATM and Lottery funds daily and make deposits where applicable.
• Keep accurate fuel inventory records and report any excessive variations.
• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, develop, discipline staff using appropriate documentation.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Order and receive merchandise utilizing inventory ordering guidelines.
• Maintain accurate compliance binder and report issues to management.
• Implement all Company promotional initiatives.
• Schedule, monitor and control payroll hours on a daily, weekly and bi-weekly basis
