Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Resource Team in Illinois. The role requires floating to facilities in Zone 4 or Zone 5, with a 36-hour work week and full-time status.

You will assist RNs with daily patient care, document in EMR, take vitals, participate in admissions/transfers/discharges, and help maintain safety and infection control. Must achieve BLS within 45 days and possess a GED/HSED or high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Two years of acute care CNA experience required.
• GED/HSED or high school diploma required.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Document observations and care in the EMR; perform vital signs.
• Participate in admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Maintain stock, cleanliness, and proper patient belongings; respond to call lights.
• Practice infection prevention and safety with proper technique.
