Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to support nurses across Illinois facilities within the Resource Team. You will assist with daily patient care, monitor vitals, and help with activities of daily living in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires a GED/HSED or high school diploma, BLS within 45 days, and two years of acute care CNA experience. Expect 36 hours per week, full-time schedules, and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.
• GED or HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of acute care CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care incl. bathing, feeding, mobility.
• Document vital signs and intake/output in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate needs to RN promptly.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintain stock and clean nursing areas.
