Job summary

Qualifications

• Pharmacists must have licensure in Illinois.
• Experience with hospital pharmacy operations is desirable.
• Training in specialty areas (neonatology, critical care, oncology) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interprets medication orders to ensure safe use and coordinates problem-solving across pharmacy, nursing and prescribers.
• Monitors therapy for interactions and therapeutic duplications, intervening when needed.
• Documents clinical activities and maintains patient profiles and accurate medication records.
