Magical Beginnings in Kingston, MA is seeking a Floating Assistant Teacher to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers across classrooms. This full-time role offers variety as you move between age groups, helping teachers and guiding play-based learning.

Qualifications

Experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a daycare setting.
Availability for full-time, flexible schedule within operating hours.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand most of the day.
EEC certification or CDA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide substitute coverage for teachers when needed.
Open/close classrooms and sanitize, prep for next day.
Assist with lesson materials, free play, outdoor supervision, diapering, meals, and naptime.
Follow daily classroom schedule and maintain cleanliness.
Maintain PQ registry and attend staff meetings.
Create a safe, engaging learning environment.
Build positive relationships with students and families.
