S.L. Nusbaum Realty Co. is seeking a Floating Assistant Community Manager for our Cameron Weldon community in Gastonia, NC. The role supports the Community Manager and oversees on-site staff, with a focus on leasing, resident relations, and operations.

The position requires a High School Diploma, strong communication, and payroll/administrative duties. We offer paid time off, holidays, insurance, 401(k) with match, and potential rent savings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; prior supervisory experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required for coordinating leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Ability to work weekends as needed and operate within Fair Housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
• Lease-related duties: showing property, preparing lease packets, running credit reports, inspecting move-ins/outs.
• Active participation in leasing to ensure quality residency.
• Handles deposits and rent payments posting.
• Responds to phone requests from residents and the public.
• Coordinates payroll administrative aligning with Payroll Department.
• Tracks traffic through the property.
• Coordinates maintenance requests with the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Aims to retain residents through positive relationships.
• Other duties as assigned.
