Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Floating Assistant Community Manager to support multiple residential communities, assisting on-site managers and ensuring a positive resident experience. The role requires quick learning of community specifics, including unit mix, amenities, sub-market conditions, and PMS reporting.

The geographic scope and assignments may change. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in property management, strong customer service, and proficiency with property management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Hospitality or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years minimum of property management, sales, marketing and customer service experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Proficiency in property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Oversee maintenance, vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Support leasing process, including tours, applications and lease documentation.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote available units and amenities.
• Support financial processes: rent collection, budget tracking and reporting.
• Handle administrative tasks and prepare reports and documentation.
• Conduct property inspections and ensure safety and standards.
• Stay informed about local, state and federal regulations and ensure compliance.
• Participate in training and support professional development of on-site teams.
