Berger Communities is seeking a Floating Apartment Maintenance Technician to support multiple communities across New Britain, Dublin, Allentown, PA, and Wilmington, DE. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our properties running smoothly, handling service requests, preparing vacant units, maintaining grounds and common areas, and performing preventive maintenance.

The role involves occasional on-call rotation and teamwork with residents and staff.

Formación

• Prior apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.
• EPA certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Handle service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections; assist with appliance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Participate in snow removal and rotate on-call responsibilities.
• Support multiple communities as needed throughout the portfolio.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and team members.

Berger Communities is hiring a Floating Service Technician to support multiple apartment communities throughout New Britain, Dublin, Allentown, PA, and Wilmington, DE.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and values building positive relationships with residents and team members. As a Floating Service Technician, you'll provide maintenance support across multiple apartment communities throughout Bucks, Lehigh, and New Castle counties. Rather than traveling to several properties each day, you'll typically be assigned to one community for several weeks at a time before transitioning to another location as business needs require. This approach allows you to become part of the team, build relationships with residents and coworkers, and make a meaningful impact at each property.

$26-$30/hour, paid biweekly, plus:

Location: Based throughout New Britain, Dublin, Allentown, PA, and Wilmington, DE.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday.

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For

• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and general repairs
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Positive attitude with a customer-service mindset
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
• EPA certification preferred
