Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, NC seeks a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Medical Assistant Floater to support the Internal Medicine department. This full-time role requires CMA certification or RN/LPN license and BLS, with EPIC experience a plus.

The position covers multiple duties across intake, examinations, injections, diagnostic testing, and EMR documentation, with a Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule and a patient-focused, team-based environment.

Competenze

• BLS through AHA required.
• EPIC experience a plus.

• Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient intake, including measuring and recording vital signs, weight, height and medical history.
• Room patients in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist provider with examinations and procedures.
• Administer injections, immunizations and medications as directed.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as EKGs and vision screenings with providers order and review.
• Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR EPIC system.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked and organized between patients.

Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse OR Medical Assistant Floater

We are seeking a patient-focused individual for a full-time Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse OR Medical Assistant Floater position in our Internal Medicine Department at the Burlington Kernodle Clinic location. Previous experience is required. CMA Certification, RN OR LPN License required. BLS through AHA is required. EPIC experience is a plus but not necessary. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualified candidates should demonstrate excellent customer service skills, computer proficiency, and a strong knowledge of medical practices. The ability to multitask effectively while creating a friendly, welcoming environment for our patients is essential.
