Cardinal Credit Union in Mentor, OH seeks a Float Teller to support local branches with deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions while helping members understand credit union products and services. You will assist in growing membership and providing friendly, accurate service across locations.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of cash handling and customer service experience in banking, plus 1 year in sales/referral role.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year customer service and cash handling experience in a bank or credit union setting.
• Minimum of 1 year of sales/referral experience that includes providing related products and service options to customers.
• Education: A high school education, some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tellers receive and process member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments.
• Balances cash drawer and makes settlement of daily activity.
• Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning credit union products and services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information.
• Identifies cross sell opportunities and cross sell services to members through in person transactional sessions, as well as by telephone and outbound calls.
