Job summary

MTC Federal Credit Union is seeking a dynamic Float Teller/Member Service Representative to support multiple branch locations in Greenville, SC. You will handle member transactions, greet members, and promote Credit Union products, with travel to various branches as needed.

Ideal candidates bring cash handling or teller experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The role offers a development path in a collaborative, team-focused environment with competitive pay

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different branch environments.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Professional appearance and dependable attendance.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
• Handle cash transactions and negotiable instruments such as money orders and cashier checks.
• Balance your cash drawer and daily transactions with a high level of accuracy.
• Verify and post transactions to member accounts while maintaining accurate records.
• Greet members warmly and provide information about products and services.
• Identify opportunities to recommend Credit Union products that meet member needs.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phones.
• Travel to and support various branch locations as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support branch operations.
