Job summary

Life Flight Network in Boise, ID, is seeking a Float Rotor Wing Pilot to professionally and safely operate aircraft to facilitate care of critically ill and/or injured patients. This full-time float position covers shifts across Boise, Burley, Hailey, ID and Pendleton, La Grande, and Ontario, OR, with varied days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualified pilots hold FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Rating, have substantial flight time, and demonstrate exceptional safety,

Qualifications

• FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument rating required.
• FAA Second Class flight physical required and current.
• 2000 hours total time and 1500 hours PIC required.
• 1000 hours turbine; 100 hours instrument (50 required) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-flight inspections and plan flights.
• Load passengers, baggage and cargo; monitor weather conditions.
• Maintain logs, reports, and coordinate with operations.
• Travel to multiple bases within Idaho and Oregon as needed.
