Job summary

Life Flight Network in Boise, ID is seeking an experienced professional pilot to join our not-for-profit air ambulance team. The role covers Boise, Burley, Hailey in Idaho and Pendleton, La Grande, Ontario in Oregon, with a focus on safe, patient-centered air medical transport.

Candidates must hold FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Rating; 2000 hours total time and 1500 PIC; 1000 turbine hours; instrument time; night time; and be prepared for rigorous pre/post flight duties,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5 years’ experience as a professional pilot preferred.
• 2000 hours Total Time required.
• 1500 hours Pilot in Command.
• 1000 R/W Turbine hours required.
• 100 hours instrument time preferred, 50 hours required.
• 100 hours of nighttime required.
• Must hold FAA Commercial Helicopter Certificate with Instrument Helicopter Rating.
• Must have and maintain FAA second class flight physical.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre- and post-flight inspections.
• Plans flights, assists in loading passengers, baggage and cargo, and analyzes weather conditions.
• Maintains logs and records, and prepares written reports.
