Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float Pool to provide flexible patient care across units, including rotating weekends and 6:30–7:00 shifts. This full-time role offers a $15,000 commitment bonus and comprehensive benefits.

The RN will assess patient needs, administer treatments, document care, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's preferred.
• 1-2 years bedside RN experience; 2-4 years critical care preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice; KY license required.
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process across units.
• Perform plan-of-care interventions including meds and treatments.
• Document care in a timely, accurate manner.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition to care team and family.
• Assist with activities of daily living and float as needed.
• Coordinate care with transfers, discharges, and referrals.
