Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Float Nurse. This role features a two-year commitment with a $15,000 bonus and rotating weekends, requiring flexible patient care across inpatient units using the nursing process.

You will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, document care, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kentucky.
• 1-2 years bedside RN experience; 2-4 years CCU preferred.
• Cardiac rhythms test must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to complete a Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process across inpatient units.
• Float to different units and collaborate with teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Administer medications, collect specimens, perform clinical treatments.
• Document care timely and accurately; monitor patient conditions and communicate changes.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate transfers, discharges, and referrals.
