Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where services are provided.
• BLS certification or higher.
• Typically requires 2 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage in nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Ensure safety and adherence to ethical standards and professional guidelines.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units/departments to meet patient care needs.
• Delegate appropriately to RNs, LPNs and assistive personnel.
