Richmond University Medical Center is looking for an RN to provide comprehensive patient care in a 12-hour day shift schedule (7a–7:30p). The role requires NYS RN registration, a nursing diploma, and current BLS; ACLS and Med-Surg certification are preferred. 1–2 years Med-Surg experience and telemetry/ventilator care exposure are highly valued.

Qualifications

• NY State RN license and nursing diploma required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.
• 1-2 years Med-Surg experience required.
• Experience with telemetry and/or ventilator patients preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Uses nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines on assigned unit.
