Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care on the Med/Surg unit. The role uses the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate care while collaborating with other disciplines on the assigned unit.

Requirements include NY RN license, accredited nursing education, and certification preferences; strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Day shift opportunities are available with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 1 - 2 years Med/Surg experience preferred. Experience with ventilator patients preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
