Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY seeks a Float RN for our Med-Surg team on a 12-hour day shift (7a–7:30p). You will apply the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with all disciplines.

Requirements include NY RN registration and a diploma; current BLS is required. BSN preferred and ACLS preferred. 1–2 years Med-Surg experience and telemetry/ventilator exposure are desired.

Qualifications

• Must hold NY RN registration and an nursing diploma.
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• BSN preferred; med-surg certification preferred.
• 1–2 years med-surg experience required; telemetry/ventilator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with all disciplines on assigned unit.
• Days w/ eo wknd & hols; 7a-7:30p shift.
