Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for day shifts to provide nursing care in Med/Surg. The role requires NY RN licensure, BSN preferred, and 1–2 years of Med/Surg experience with ventilator patients. BLS is required and certification in Med-Surg is preferred. Excellent organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York State.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years Med/Surg experience preferred; ventilator patients experience preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.
