Job summary

Gillette Children's is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Nursing Support Team at the St. Paul Main Campus. This 0.7 FTE role covers Evening/Night shifts, with M-F 8-hour days and 12-hour weekend shifts, on-site in Saint Paul, MN, US.

The RN will provide high-quality, family-centered care across inpatient units, cross-train into the PICU within 12 months, and participate in quality improvement and professional development in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Documentation of completion of professional nursing program (RN program).
• Current RN license through the MN Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification required; PALS preferred or required for Nursing Support.
• Cross-train into the PICU within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient care using the nursing process to optimize health outcomes.
• Create individualized, evidence-based plans of care and implement interventions.
• Prioritize effectively and communicate nursing data to families and care teams.
