Job summary

Gillette Children’s Respiratory Therapy team is hiring a 0.6 FTE therapist for evenings and nights on-site at the St. Paul campus. The role includes 8-hour shifts with every fourth weekend, supporting pediatric patients with a focus on assessment, therapy administration, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Required NBRC CRT, MN license, BLS, and PALS (within 90 days). The position offers competitive hourly wages and a benefits package, with opportunities for professional development and tuition

Qualifications

• Graduate of Respiratory Care education program and certified through NBRC as CRT.
• Must be licensed with the state of MN.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; if CPR via another organization, must complete BLS within 30 days.
• Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provides respiratory care to patients within a family focused setting.
• Conducts thorough respiratory system assessments.
• Contributes to a collaborative plan of care for patients receiving respiratory therapies.
• Successfully implements respiratory therapies.
• Evaluates and documents respiratory therapy outcomes.
