Job summary

Children's Minnesota seeks a dedicated registered nurse for its St. Paul PICU.

This role provides family-centered nursing care to infants and children, collaborating with the care team and performing professional nursing functions in a high-acuity setting. Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with MN RN licensure, BLS, and preferably PALS certification; additional certifications may be required within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Minnesota RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Additional certification may be required within 6 months.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required or obtained during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other health team members.
• Perform professional nursing functions and delegated medical tasks per unit protocols.
