Gillette Children’s Respiratory Services is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for evenings and nights at our St. Paul campus. This 0.6 FTE on-site role features 8-hour shifts during weekdays and 12-hour nights every 4th weekend, with weekend coverage on Saturdays and Sundays.

Pediatric experience is preferred and PALS is required within 3 months of hire. The therapist will assess, treat, and manage patients with cardiopulmonary needs, collaborating with the care team to deliver high-quality

Formación

• Graduate of Respiratory Care education program and certified through NBRC as CRT.
• Must be licensed with the state of MN.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; must complete BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory care to patients in a family-focused setting.
• Conduct thorough respiratory assessments and collaborate on plans of care.
• Implement respiratory therapies and evaluate outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and department activities.
• Represent the respiratory department on committees and at meetings.
