Suncoast Hospice, a member of Empath Health, seeks a compassionate Hospice Care Center Registered Nurse for our Care Center in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties. The RN delivers inpatient hospice care, assesses patient needs, coordinates care, and oversees LPNs and aides.

Night shift is 8p-8a, every other weekend, with opportunities for growth. We provide Full Life Care across Florida with comprehensive benefits and a mission-driven team.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year recent bedside nursing.
• Florida RN license valid.
• Florida Driver’s License.
• Experience with terminally ill patients preferred; acute or post-acute setting experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Identify and coordinate patient/family needs.

Suncoast Hospice , a member of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated Hospice Care Center Registered Nurse to work with us at our Care Center in Pinellas and Hillsborough County while providing exceptional care. The Care Center RN provides compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients and their families in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, coordinating care, managing symptoms, providing education and support, and overseeing LPNs and aides. Schedule: Night shift 8p-8a every other weekend

What you’ll Do:

• is responsible for identifying and coordinating patient/family needs and for providing
• preventive and supportive care to the terminally ill patient/family unit.
• utilizes assessment, intervention and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life to the patient/family unit.
• provides oversight and supervision of the LPN and/or aide for the delivery of patient care in the GIP environment.
• Required to float if needed.

What You’ll Need

• Position Requirements minimum of 1 year recent bedside nursing
• Valid Florida license as a Registered Nurse
• Valid Florida State Driver’s License
• Minimum of 1 year of current active nursing experience; with experience in caring for terminally ill patients or those with life threatening illnesses preferred; prefer one (1) year experience in an acute or post acute care setting.
