Job summary

Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, NC is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist for a Therapy Float Pool position working 36 hours per week. You will support four Atrium Health inpatient facilities and three Acute Care facilities, with a variable pay range of $41.10–$61.65 per hour.

You will perform age-appropriate evaluations and plans of care, educate patients and caregivers, document thoroughly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes across locations.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ongoing compliance with CE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Age-appropriate patient care across the life span.
• Interprets records and plans effective therapy interventions.
• Establishes goals and monitors outcomes with the patient/caregiver.
• Educates patients and caregivers on diagnosis, progress and home programs.
• Communicates professionally with the care team and documents care.
• Maintains accurate documentation and coding as required.
• Ensures a clean, safe, and compliant treatment environment.
