Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Supports Physical Therapists by providing patient care across musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and integumentary systems.
• Reviews records and implements treatment plans with supervising therapist.
• Delivers therapy and documents patient progress and changes in condition.
• Aids discharge planning with home programs and caregiver education.
• Maintains professional communication with patients, caregivers, and staff.
• Completes documentation with signatures and adheres to policies and timelines.
• Maintains a clean, safe treatment environment and uses PPE as required.
• Pursues ongoing professional development and participates in performance improvements.
• Assists with float coverage across departments and locations.
