Job summary

Williamson Health is seeking a registered nurse to coordinate, implement and plan nursing care across diverse units. The role requires Tennessee licensure, a nursing diploma, and current BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Expect responsibilities in patient assessment, care planning, and discharge teaching, with emphasis on accuracy and timely documentation. The position may involve telemetry, critical care, pediatric and emergency areas, with certifications such as ACLS, NVCI, and PALS

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed to practice nursing in Tennessee.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• For telemetry units, Basic arrhythmia within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS within 6 months for critical care and unit needs.
• NVCI certification within 6 months for applicable areas.
• ACLS/PALS/ENPC as required within defined timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Performs a comprehensive assessment on all patients within the appropriate time of admission.
• Plans the patient's care on an individual basis with identified problems and outcomes.
• Plans for patient teaching, discharge and post-discharge needs as appropriate.
• Documents accurately and timely.
• Reassess patient condition and modify plan accordingly.
• Accepts charge responsibilities and assigns staff based on acuity.
• Maintains healing and therapeutic environment for patient and family.
• Maintains professional appearance and cleanliness of work areas.
