Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an NLN-approved RN program.
• Current state nursing license required.
• ACLS or PALS certification (or be obtained within six months of employment).
• BLS certification required.
• Prefer one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across two designated units.
• Assess patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and monitor patient responses according to protocols.
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain competency to float between two acute areas as needed.
