Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• ACLS or PALS (or obtained within six months of employment).
• BLS.
• Current state nursing license.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across two units with adaptability and clinical expertise.
• Assess patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans.
• Safely administer medications, titrate drips, and monitor patient responses per unit protocols.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure policy compliance.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
• Float between two acute areas and maintain competency in both.
