Bassett Healthcare Network seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool, delivering direct nursing care across medical-surgical, telemetry, and acute care settings within BHN. You may start in one unit and move to others to meet census and acuity; you advocate for patients and coordinate with families and the care team.

The role requires 3+ years RN staff experience in medical/surgical or telemetry, NY RN license, and BLS/ACLS; travel across units may be required to balance staffing.

Qualifications

• 2 Year / Associate Degree in nursing is required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a wide variety of patients.
• Float to various units or locations based on staffing needs.
• Act as a consultant to assist unit-based staff.
