Job summary

Concord Hospital seeks experienced RNs to join our RN Premium Float Team. The float team offers you the opportunity to use your diverse clinical skills across a variety of acute care settings. This float team position provides exposure to multiple medical/surgical and critical care units and opportunities to further develop your skill base.

Required: NH nursing license, BLS, BSN preferred; at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association).
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Bases nursing actions by applying principles of purposeful, organized thinking to make clinical judgments/decisions.
• Gathers data through history taking and physical assessment and interprets data to plan and implement interventions.
• Develops and revises patient's plan of care based on changing needs.
• Documents care and patient progress toward outcomes.
• Directs and supervises others in delegated nursing activities.
• Educates patients and families about the plan of care and post-discharge management.
• Manages time and resources to deliver patient care.
• Administers medications to patients.
• Provides direct patient care and leads the health care team.
• Serves as a resource person for the shift and preceptor for new employees.
