Job summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to provide nursing care across multiple units in a dynamic hospital setting. You will work within a nursing team and may transfer between units to meet census and acuity needs.

The role requires 3+ years of RN experience in medical/surgical or telemetry areas, current NY RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Expect extensive travel between units and locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 Year / Associate Degree in nursing, required.
• Other nursing diploma, required.
• 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
• All RN hires not BSN must enroll in a bachelor’s program within 4 years of hire, with BSN completion within 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care across units (medical-surgical, telemetry, ED).
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate care; ensure holistic approach.
