Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse PD3 Float for per diem shifts across Chicago, Evanston, Highland Park and Swedish Hospital Chicago. You will provide nursing care using the nursing process, ensure safety, and support colleagues on a fast-paced unit.
A valid Illinois nursing license, CPR certification, and at least one year of staff nurse experience are required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed. Per diem pay reflects experience and unit needs, with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Illinois Nursing licensure.
- American Heart Association CPR Certification.
- ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required within six months depending on the unit.
- At least one year of staff nurse experience.
- Psych experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the delivery of nursing care to patients and their families.
- Maintains competency reflective of current standards practice.
- Interacts and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
- Integrates ethical provisions in all areas of nursing practice.
- Documentation is thoroughly and timely completed.
