Job summary

Essentia Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to work in our Float Pool. The position offers 36 hours per week with straight nights (7pm–7:30am), every 3rd weekend, and every other holiday rotation.

Candidats will float to multiple units across the facility, delivering direct patient care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires acute care nursing skills, flexibility, and proficiency with EHR systems.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment
• BCLS within 1 month of hire
• ACLS within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and policies
• Float between units (medical-surgical, telemetry, ICU, ED, pediatrics) as needed
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with multidisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and procedures safely and accurately
• Monitor and document patient progress and update records
