Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join the Float Unit. The role provides 36 hours per week with day/night rotation, every 3rd weekend, and every other holiday.

The successful candidate will organize and deliver patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, and may delegate tasks to licensed staff as appropriate. The position offers a float pool premium and recruiting incentives up to $7500 (ADN) or $10,000 (BSN).

Qualifications

• RN license in state of employment.
• BCLS certification within 1 month of hire.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Delegate aspects of care to nursing personnel based on licensure and job descriptions.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements.
