Job summary

Essentia Health in Brainerd and Baxter, Minnesota, seeks a Float Pool Registered Nurse to lead comprehensive patient care across multiple hospital units. You will delegate tasks to licensed staff, adapt to diverse patient populations, and uphold Joint Commission standards in a fast-paced environment.

Float pool RNs cover Medical, Med/Surg, IMC/ICU and ED units, rotating 12-hour shifts with daytime and overnight options, and a 60-hour pay-period structure.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care across assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Delegate care responsibilities to licensed nursing staff based on licensure and role specifications.
• Support Essentia Health's mission and community impact through high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to Joint Commission and other regulatory standards and accrediting requirements.
