Essentia Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for our Float Pool, working 36 hours per week during straight nights (7pm–7:30am) with every 3rd weekend and every other holiday rotation.

The role requires adaptability to work in multiple units (medical-surgical, telemetry, ICU, emergency, pediatrics) and to coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams. BCLS and ACLS certifications within the listed timelines and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• One year of acute care nursing experience (preferred).
• BCLS certification within 1 month of hire; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct patient care according to nursing standards and facility policies.
• Float between units (medical-surgical, telemetry, ICU, emergency, pediatrics, or others).
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with multidisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely.
• Monitor and document patient progress and update records.
