Job summary

Lowell General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for 36 hours per week on the Night shift (7PM-7AM) with weekend and holiday rotation. The role includes float pool duties and progression through the Direct Care Pathway levels I–IV based on experience and qualifications.

The RN provides professional nursing care under physician orders, assesses and plans care, and supports patient and family education while maintaining standards and collaborating with the health team.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care to patients and families.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care needs.
• Develops and evaluates the patient’s plan of care.
• Maintains patient safety and quality of care in accordance with policies.
